BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Ridge High School senior Noor Nauman has always enjoyed doing crafts. Now she has turned her passion into a business called Made4You to help capture other people’s memories and tell a story.
It started during lunch in middle school when she would make bracelets. One day, Nauman was approached by one of the librarians.
“She was also like, ‘Oh my God, these are so cute!” recalled Nauman.

The librarian really liked the bracelets and asked to buy one. She also helped Nauman open a stall at a local Winter Market.
That’s when Nauman realized people wanted to buy her crafts. For birthdays and holidays, Nauman would ask to receive new crafting machines and items to help expand her selection.

Each time Nauman made a personalized item, she noticed how much of an impact it had on the customer.
“They were so happy to get this for their friends and family,” said Nauman. “I didn’t really know that what I was doing could have such a big impact on like how people felt.”
Nauman officially launched Made4You about a year ago with a selection of bracelets, shirts, mugs, tumblers, bottles, key chains, hoodies, sweatshirts, and more.
She also creates customized items when customers approach her with an idea they want to create for someone’s birthday or graduation.
Proud of her Pakistani heritage, Nauman also incorporates her culture into her designs.
“I love how this business lets me create items that are associated with a memory or tells a story for people. It also gives me the opportunity to represent my culture and give back to the community,” said Nauman.
From Nauman’s proceeds, she has a goal to donate $3,000 to Lustgarten – Pancreatic Cancer Research (lustgarten.org ), which “is an important cause to me as my grandfather passed away from Pancreatic Cancer.”
