MURRIETA, CA — Murrieta Tire and Auto is planning to open a new 4,995-square-foot shop along Madison Avenue, according to city documents.
The proposed construction project will be reviewed during the 6 p.m. Sept. 11 Murrieta Planning Commission meeting.
Murrieta Tire and Auto currently has a small shop at 41991 Ivy Street in Old Town Murrieta. The new location is slated to include a mezzanine, six service bays, and a 27-stall parking lot on a currently vacant .68-acre lot situated on the east side of Madison, about 1,200 feet south of Murrieta Hot Springs Road.

The planning commission is scheduled to review the project’s development plans and conditional use permit.
The shop’s services would include general automotive, including brake replacements, alignments, suspension repair and upgrades, general maintenance, as well as sales and installation of aftermarket wheels, according to city documents.

The shop’s hours are proposed as 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and shorter hours on Saturday.
