SUNSET PARK, NY — Brooklyn’s accused hammer killer was found standing over the body of a fatally wounded mom and her critically injured kids by a confidant summoned to the apartment with the words, “[I have done] something wrong,” according to prosecutor’s criminal complaint.

Liyong Ye, 47, Thursday pleaded not guilty to charges levied against him by the Brooklyn District Attorney, namely that he bludgeoned Zhao Zhao to death and badly wounded her two kids, ages 3 and 5, court records show.

The confidant came to the apartment and found Ye with a hammer standing over Zhao and her children, bloodied with clear injuries and blood on the walls and floor, prosecutors argue.

According to the complaint, Ye said he had “hit” Zhao.

Zhao’s died from a “massive blunt instrument trauma to the head,” according to the complaint.

Ye faces charges including murder, attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon, according to the complaint.

On Wednesday, the children’s dad drove in from Ohio to see his kids in the hospital, according to the New York Daily News.

“He is very scared for his kids” uncle Chen Lin told NY Daily News. “He is doing really badly.”
