TEMECULA, CA — The City of Temecula needs your help to vote for a cherished local tradition. The beloved New Year’s Eve Grape Drop, held annually at City Hall, is up for the USA Today 10Best Readers Choice awards for 2023.

You can vote daily until December 4th, according to the city.

The NYE Grape Drop represents our city and the wealth of grapevines blanketing our Temecula Valley Wine Country hillsides.

The grapes have changed over the years, as can be seen in the below video from 10 years ago. It takes one whole minute for the grapes to lower from the top to the New Year.

What started small has bloomed in size! And the sentiment behind the ceremony has grown, as well. So remember to vote daily and give the city of Temecula some love as we get closer to the holiday season. Vote!
