With the World Test Championships a few days away, the Indian cricketers have started arriving in England to kick off their preparation after 2 months of grueling IPL schedule.

On Monday, the BCCI Twitter account shared photos of Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara and Jaydev Unadkat arriving at the training ground titled “Arrival Alert🚨 @imVkohli, @cheteshwar1 and @JUnadkat are here.”

The Twitter account also posted photos of other Indian players training including the likes of Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Siraj.

Earlier this week, Umesh Yadav and Shardul Thakur were part of the first batch of Indian players that kickstarted preparations for the World Test Championship Final at The Oval next month.

In a recent social media post from the BCCI on Twitter on May 25, the duo and the coaching staff headed by Rahul Dravid were pictured during a training session, donning the new training kit with the new sponsor, Adidas.

Meanwhile, Mumbai opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has been included in the India squad for the WTC final as a stand-by player after Ruturaj Gaikwad informed the cricket board that he will be getting married on June 3-4.

The Indian Express understands that the team management has asked Jaiswal to start practising with the red ball and as he already holds a UK visa, he will be flying to London in a few days.
