WOODSTOCK, IL — A 57-year-old Wonder Lake man faces possession of child pornography charges following an investigation by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office and Illinois Attorney General’s Office.
David R. Glass has been charged with ten counts of child pornography – reproduce/sell, which is a Class X felony, and 10 counts of possession of child pornography, which is a Class 2 felony, according to a news release from the Woodstock Police Department.
Local police launched an investigation into Glass after learning in June that Glass was actively sharing child pornography online, according to police. Authorities secured a search warrant from a judge and searched Glass’s home.

Police removed computer hardware from the home, according to a news release. Glass was taken to the McHenry County Adult Correctional Facility where he is being held as he awaits a pre-trial detention hearing.
Glass remained detained at the McHenry County Jail as of Monday, and he is next expected in court on Tuesday for a preliminary hearing, police told Patch.
